Land-O-Lakes Pull Apart Party Loaf
It’s football season, and time to bring on the finger food! This is such a great idea for any kind of gathering, but warm cheesy bread just screams football!
I stumbled upon this Land-O-Lakes recipe, in the coupon section of my Saturday newspaper, wayyyyy back during Superbowl week. I immediately tore it out, ran to the store, and picked up all of the ingredients. I new this would be making an appearance at my superbowl party. I have to say it turned out perfect, and was gone way before the halftime show.
Pick up the following things:
1 – 16 to 18 Ounce Round Loaf of Sourdough Bread
1/4 Cup Butter
1 Teaspoon Dry Ranch Dressing Mix
10 Slices of White American Cheese Diced in 1/2″ x 1/2″ Pieces (I stacked all 10 slices in a pile and cut them all at once)
6 Slices of Well Done Bacon Crumbled (easy to crumble if crunchy)
1/4 Cup Diced Jalapeno’s
2 Teaspoons Chopped Fresh Parsley
Heat oven to 350 Degrees.
Place two large sheets of aluminum foil crossing over each other on a flat surface. Cut bread, using a serrated knife in a grid pattern, spacing about 1 inch between rows. Do not cut through bottom crust. Combine melted butter, and ranch dressing in medium bowl. Add all remaining ingredients except parsley; mix well.
Place loaf in center of foil pieces. Spoon cheese mixture into cut areas of bread. Wrap foil loosely around bread. Place onto cookie sheet. Bake 30 minutes. Pull foil back; continue baking 10 more minutes or until golden brown.
Garnish with parsley. Pull out individual bread pieces using tongs.
